Three-and-a-half year old female, bred by Master Falconer Dan Paradis of the Quebec Falconry Centre.
'Jarih' is a fit and lovely girl, quite lure-focused, good to the hood, and gentle on the fist.
She is a big girl - we've flown her at weights ranging between 1080grams to 1125grams.
As we work in the film and television industry and require tremendous tolerance from our raptorial performers, we've determined 'Jarih' would be better suited to hunting - though without the company of dogs, as she's largely intolerant of them.
'Jarih' demonstrates incredible drive, and would be an excellent hunting companion with an experienced human mentor to finish her training in this direction.
Alternatively, 'Jarih' would make a lovely mother. Being a big, lovely girl, she'll turn out some gorgeous youngsters. She will be four years old in the summer of 2015, so she has many years ahead of her for breeding purposes.
We have veterinary certificates from her annual check-ups available on request.
