2010 female Barbary x Lanner (NON M.B.T.A. Raptor no federal permit required) This is one of our trained education show birds from last year we call her “Hope”. She is a lure trained free flight falcon. She hoods and travels well and can be a bit testy when being picked up from her block perch but once on the fist she is fine. She doesn’t scream and doesn’t mind crowds however she has never been an impressive lure stooping falcon but will stoop at her own pace and prefers to fly around and make occasional passes before deciding to be some what serious. She is famous for disappearing over buildings during shows only to return moments latter to surprise the crowd who were thinking she flew away that’s how “Hope” got her name for hope she’s comes back. We now have several new raptors we have bred and acquired this past spring for our upcoming programs and are looking to place Hope to another program in need of an exotic falcon she is just finishing up her first molt and will need work and exercise to get going but has the basics and show experience to be used in just about any education program.
