Female spectacled owl 3 years old. This owl is golden. She has worked with me in my birds of prey educational programs since she was a downy owlet. She is totally silent and friendly. She has been used indoors and out at various venues to include loud and noisy County fairs. I used this bird to be held by others for picture taking. Literally many hundreds of people each year have held her at various venues. She flies to a t-perch on a creance during shows. Travels great to different venues in her transport container. All around my best bird that I used in my business. Being uncommon she is a great attention getter. Not as impressive in size as my eagle owl, but impressive because most people have never heard of them let alone seen one. Therefore she gets the wow factor. When at a venue when I take her out of her travel box I let her fly to a perch in front of the audience and they love it. Both my owls fly to the perch but the spectacled owl does it every time.
She allows being petted but I don't let people pet my birds. Serious inquiries only and I prefer her to ho to licensed falconer. I don't ship but I will drive out a couple hours. Text me at 803-221-6252 $8,000.
