I have a female Eurasian eagle owl for sale. She is about 7 years old. I use her in my birds of prey educational programs. She has done venues indoors and out. County fairs with all the lights and commotion. She flies to a T perch in front of big and noisy crowds. At home She will fly to me if low enough. During my presentations flying to a perch is good enough. All done on creance. She travels great in a giant hood. Her wooden travel box goes with her. She is silent even when weight is cut. Once on the fist very calm and can be petted, although I don't let people pet my birds. Others can hold her.
She is not fond of dogs. Her one quirk is that when you get her up on your fist she does hiss and it us best if moving in slow with the glove. She may bite at the glove a bit as you pull her up onto the glove. As soon as she is on the fist and you lift her up she is golden. It's just the initial picking her up unto the glove. This and not liking dogs right close to her is her only known quirks.
If you are looking for a solid dependable Eurasian eagle owl for demonstration she is great and proven. I will travel out a couple hours, but not willing to ship on airlines at this time.
