European or Common Kestrel (falco tinnunculus)

North Wind Merlins
Will offer a limited amount of Eurasian Kestrels in the 2010 season. These birds are much larger than our American Kestrel, average female's weight 230g.
They are very aerial flying out nearly a quarter mile, and returing overhead, a pitch of 80 to 400 feet. Taking hand tossed birds regularly in this way.
Eggs normaly hatch in late May, Parent reared unless requested.
