She's still available - I'm seriously considering selling my female Aplo. She's a great bird, no really bad habits other than not liking you to mess with her gear and she doesn't hood (both not unusual for an Aplo). She's wed to the lure (doesn't stoop to it but could be taught easily), chases game and has caught baggies and one wild dove, doesn't stray too far and follows a bit when field hawking. Doesn't bate excessively on the shelf perch, steps in and out of the giant hood, doesn't pick at equipment, quiet unless it's food time, not afraid of dogs in the field. Generally an all-around good girl.
But I don't have any time. I work 8:30-5 Mon -Fri and some nights and weekends. I was going to try to fly her over my lunch break but now my son is in preschool and I have to go get him to take him to daycare over lunch every day. She's not getting any flight time and I don't have great setups for her when we do have time. And she's out of shape when we do fly. She's also terrified of my son, and he's getting big enough he has to walk in the field instead of being carried and she's not about that at all. 2021 hatch, bred by Inka Falcon, parent raised, decent sized bird.
I'd love for her to someone who can fly her hard and give her the time she deserves. I'm in Chicagoland and if we can meet somewhere that's ideal, but I'm willing to fly her Delta cargo if needed. I'm loving working with her when I can but honestly it's not in her best interest and getting worse for the foreseeable future.
